Sometimes a song just begs to be written and sometimes it almost writes itself. And that's how it was,
when 'Baby, She ́s Gone' came to be.
When the tight pop/soul groove, the myriad of mesmerizing guitars, and dreamy keys filled Henning Hoeg's studio in Rochester, Michigan, both melody and lyrical theme came fast and furious.
Henning's 'partner in crime' and co-Dane Robert Nilsson had once again been working through the night in his studio located in Elsinore, Denmark. And once again Robert's pop/rock imagination hit the musical sweet spot 4000 miles away in Rochester, MI.
'Robert and I speak and think the same musical language. And his new tracks always spark my imagination. This time it clearly spelled a dramatic breakup and new beginnings. And musically, somewhere between Hall & Oates and Jackson Browne,' says Henning Hoeg.
In 'Baby, She's Gone' our anti-hero thinks he is all that ... and a bag of chips. But one night his sweetheart has had enough and returning home, he finds only a note saying 'Baby, baby, baby I'm Gone'.
Needless to say, 'Sir Lancelot' with the aviator glasses does not come out on top...
